Texas Indie girl will make your day
"Spark", is the debut album from the multi-talented singer, musician and songwriter, Stephanie Briggs. Her sound is a delightful mixture of contemporary indie pop and folk rock that immediately strikes you as original and fresh. Comparisons that come to mind are Canada's favourite indie girl; Feist, Silversun Pickups and Regina Spektor. If you are a fan of these artists, be sure to check out Stephanie.
The album contains fifteen great songs that will get stuck in your head and have you singing along for days. Standout tracks include "Doll", "Photo Chemicals", "Reflection", and "Siphoning Seasons". I truly enjoyed this album and predict a bright future for this Texas indie girl.
